Humans have relied on antibiotics to treat bacterial infections since the early 20th century. Now, drug resistant superbugs are appearing all over the world as we enter a post anti-biotic era. Scientist Bryson Voirin follows Professor Roger Linington to the bottom of Monterey Bay to search for new substances that may hold the cure to stopping these bugs.
